Organic Popcorn with Grass-Fed Butter

serves 2-3

!! you’d be surprised how many people do not know how to make healthy popcorn at home without a microwave!

i love doing this at home and hope you will too!

for an even simpler option, ill attach my favorite at home popcorn popper! an adorable xmas gift, by the way and the inside is stainless steel.

ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp grass-fed ghee butter OR organic coconut oil!

  • 1 cup organic popcorn kernels

  • 1 large pot with lid

  • 2-3 tablespoons of grassfed butter, melted on low heat without burning or browning

  • sea salt to taste

directions:

  • melt your oil in a large pot and add the cup of popcorn.

  • turn your heat on low-medium and cover your pot!

  • allow the popcorn to begin popping in the hot oil.

  • as your popcorn is popping and the pot is filling up with popped corn, turn your pop to low heat to minimize the kernels at the bottom from burning.

  • in a small sauce pan, melt a couple more tablespoons of salted grassfed butter

  • serve in a bowl and pour the melted butter on top!
