Cranberry Sauce

serves many!

ingredients:

  • 1 (12-ounce) bags of organic cranberries

  • 3/4 cup of coconut sugar

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup filtered water

  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice & 1 tsp zest from the orange (~1 large orange)

  • 1/2 tsp organic vanilla extract

  • optional additions:

    • 6 tablespoons grated ginger

directions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a stainless steel, medium saucepan.

    • note: zest your orange first as it’s easier to zest before the orange is cut in half to juice.

  • Bring the ingredients to a soft boil, stirring until coconut sugar dissolves. Reduce to a simmer until all cranberries pop, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.

  • Cover and refrigerate.
