Cranberry Sauce
serves many!
ingredients:
1 (12-ounce) bags of organic cranberries
3/4 cup of coconut sugar
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 cup filtered water
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice & 1 tsp zest from the orange (~1 large orange)
1/2 tsp organic vanilla extract
optional additions:
6 tablespoons grated ginger
directions:
Combine all ingredients in a stainless steel, medium saucepan.
note: zest your orange first as it’s easier to zest before the orange is cut in half to juice.
Bring the ingredients to a soft boil, stirring until coconut sugar dissolves. Reduce to a simmer until all cranberries pop, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
Cover and refrigerate.
